Friday, 20 June
  • Today we learnt how to program Mrs Harvey to make jam butties which was very interesting.
  • I learnt that to program something it has to be very precise and accurate.
  • If its not accurate there could be errors.
  • Programming has to be error free so it works completely right.

Thursday, 17 july

  • Today i had a play around on game maker.

  • Found it quite difficult & hard.
  • I needed help from other students to explain the tasks.

Friday 18th july
  • During todays class i continued game maker.
  • I played around learning and reading about how to build games.
  • Found today easier then the last lesson.


Tuesday, 22 July
  • Today I made my first game on game maker i still need to catch up on a bit of work.
  • I found it quite difficult adding sprites, backgrounds, rooms & objects.
  • The game needed alot more work put into it & was not made to a very high standard.


Tuesday, 29 July
  • Today I made a new game in game maker.
  • I feel a lot more comfortable adding the sprites & designing the backgrounds.
  • The game works but does need to be improved and i need to add the next level still.
  • I find game maker easier to use this session, but still need to learn a few more skills to help me improve my games.

Friday, 1 august
  • Today I worked on my wikispace catching up on reflections.
  • I attempted to improve my 3 games i made in game maker.
  • I still need to spend a lot of time to improve my skills in game maker.


Tuesday, 5 august
  • Today I worked on my third game on game maker.
  • It took me all session to get it completed so i could give it a go at playing it.
  • I made a space invaders room and I created around 4-5 different sprites.
  • I found it a lot easier completing this game other then the 2 before hand.


Thursday, 7 august
  • Todays session i spent practicing the sac questions.
  • I decided to make another space invaders game.
  • I did this because i find it easy to complete task one using the space invaders theme.
  • I had some complications making the hero shoot bullets.


Friday, 8 August

Thursday, 14 august
  • Todays session i started working on my sac
  • I completed task one & some of task two
  • One complication i experienced was not saving my work.
  • This resaulted in losing task two at the end of the session.


Friday, 15 august
  • Todays session i continued working on my sac
  • I completed task two and most of task three
  • I didnt find many comlications or errors


Tuesday, 19 august
  • Todays session i continued working on my sac.
  • I decided to opnly use half my lesson on game maker.
  • The other half of the lesson i completed some assignment questions.
  • I had no errors in the game and its working sucessfully.


Thursday, 21 august
  • Todays session i continued working on my sac
  • I have completed 3 games at this point,
  • I am spending todays session working on the chapter questions.
